How do you handle yearly planning for your letterpress business?

Hi guys,

I'm in the midst of doing yearly planning for my letterpress business, and wondered if anyone had feedback on how they handle their own yearly planning. Specifically: when do you aim to send out your catalogs, accept orders, and plan on sending stock out for each season? Is there a standard time for the holiday season catalog to go out, and a cut-off date for stores to place their orders?

In other words: is there a typical calendar year for a letterpress business that primarily wholesales coasters and cards to small retail stores? Or do you just wing it?

I'd like to tighten that process this year; any help would be greatly appreciated!
