How do you all store your printed greeting cards? I have a small studio and a small narrow office and I have just plain run out of storage ideas for my cards I have a big Expedit 5×5 shelf and a 1×5 (so 30 cubes!) I have blank envelope stock on top.. would love to see photos of your studio’s and your storage!

I just keep taking over the house!

I pack say 20 of each card into cello – ready for the ‘shelves’ and store them in long dvd or cd box storage containers with lids.  The rest I keep flat until I run out of the packages ones and then will wrap another 20 or so. I store the long cd/dvd boxes on a wire crisps display shelf I found on the side of the road! The shelves are deep and they fit one box high. My storage/work/junk room is a disaster area – all the time!

‘shop’ is a very loose term! I do participate in pop up shops 2-3 imes a year for 2-3 months at a time, but otherwise, my shop is in my house! And is messy.  even when I tidy it up, it gets smashed within an hour! sigh.I love these ‘studio inspiration shops where the desk space is all white with awesome artwork and plants like no-one has ever sat at the desk!

Basically I have thin draws for postage stuff – stickers, stamps, wraps etc. The deeper draws hold envelopes and cello bags.  The shelf holds the cards open flat, and the plastic boxes hold packed cards.

Not a perfect system as I always seem to run out.  Im going to get a stock/inventory control thing one day but its too much for my brain right now!
