Printing on Stardream HELP

I am trying to print on Stardream Dual and having a heck of a time with it. At first I thought it was because I was using rubber based ink, and thought the trouble was due to the fact that the paper must be coated and therefore the ink was unable to absorb. But now I am having the same result with oil based ink. The ink looks as though its floating on the surface and I am not getting even coverage. "I have no problem scoring lettra, though I always score with the grain. I use 2 pt rule and chipboard as the matrix."

"We use Reich Savoy for everything and it folds great! Never have a problem cracking. We use the #118, so don't know if a heavier stock would give you trouble. We also use a hand scoring machine and I don't know maybe that helps us. Good…"

I know there is an extensive forum discussion about folding Lettra, but I was wondering if anyone has had success folding another cotton paper, like Reich Savoy for example?I have a client who wants to score their business card on both sides so that it will fold in a zig sag like shape to stand up on a desk.
