"I use UPS almost exclusively as well, for several reasons: you can insure the shipment for its full value, the tracking is 100x better that that available through USPS, and they'll pick up. If cost isn't an issue, I'm happy to ship…"

shipping costs

I was a little disturbed about shipping costs this last week. I ordered magnesium cuts and I paid nearly $9 for 2 small cuts that don't even weigh half a pound. I've mailed comparable stuff via regular mail (USPS) and it cost the same, if not less, and arrived sooner. With another vendor, I paid $8 for 1 only item that could have shipped for less, considering the weight (between $3 and $5??). The list goes on with 2 other vendors. "I did a simple search for "C6 plastic bags" and found this. I also know this place: Packaging Specialty, you can contact them and ask."

About Me:
Miss Cline Press is a small design and print studio operating in the historic Central District of Seattle. Our aesthetic is built upon the idea of the handmade object impressed with meaning and care. Thus, our work is as handmade as possible around here because we enjoy hand-setting type as well as hand-carving our illustrations and hand-tearing our paper. Everything is then hand-printed in either a large turn-of-the-century Chandler & Price or a precious little Peerless press. Our pieces come out organic, full of soul, and richly pressed. We love to print invites, poster broadsides, business cards, stationery and even funky packages… or whatever new idea you have. Visit us online (or in our studio, by appointment).
