I'm new to printing but I absolutely love everything about it. I'm struggling to master my Adana press, but it will happen one day, hopefully soon.

Hi Christine, actually, we're in Oakville, so a bit closer than Hamilton and we have a C&P Pilot which is closer in style to your Adana. We were thinking our workshops would be about 4 hours and cost $175. But since you'd be our test subject, we'd be happy to charge you only $100. We'd supply the paper. Does this interest you? If so, here are some dates to consider: June 12, 19, 26

Hi Christine, I couldn't find a site for Margaret, but I think her courses are two days and cost about $180, and they are in Kingston. There is an organization called CABBG that offers courses in Toronto. A bit more expensive, but I think they are very detailed http://www.cbbag.ca/workshp.html#SW.

Where in Toronto are you? My husband and I have been thinking about offering some workshops in our studio and maybe you could be one of our test subjects...

Hi Christine!
I have both of those studios on my friends list now, and may have to take courses from them, too!
I am only getting an Adana 3x5 and the current owner has struggled to get it to print properly, too - he will work on it with me when I go to buy it. No, it's not from Don - I found it through a connection of Everlovin' Press in Kingston.
I hope you get the time to work on yours - you sound determined!!

Welcome to the club Christine! I see you're from the Toronto area too. Have fun learning all about your new press. I remember our first few impressions off our C&P Pilot - good thing my husband is mechanically inclined and loves getting his hands dirty or we'd still be pulling out our hair trying to get it right. I see Marlaine is going for lessons with Margaret Lock - you may want to consider learning from Margaret - she's fantastic. Good luck!
