Apprentices or Interns Welcome?
I literally grew up in the Printing Industry. My grandfather owned a newspaper in Barrington, IL before I was born and my father left his position with JWT in Chicago to move to the Keys and open Stanley Printing in the mid 60's. I worked for my dad from the time I was 13 - first in bindery and later on I would hand-feed invitations into the Kluge so he could get on the Linotype or Ludlow. They're all gone now and I'm studying Graphic Design, but I miss the smell of ink, the rhythm of the presses. I don't know if I qualify for membership with all of you - but kudos anyhow for what you're doing!
