Hi There!I'm trying to purchase another press (I have an 8x12 C&P NS right now) and I'm trying to decide between a 10x15 C&P and a 12x18 C&P. So my question for you C&P users is: if…Continue

Printing for designers

Hi there! I've had a couple of requests from designers who would like to have their own designs letterpress printed so that they can sell them in their shops and I'm having a really hard time figuring out what to charge. I know what to charge for my own greeting cards that I sell in my shop...should I just take a percentage off of that for designers? I'm curious to hear what all of you do in that situation? Thanks!See More

"I have a C&P 8 x 12 that I use everyday and a 12 x 18 that I use about once a month - I say for sure go for the larger one so you can do 11 x 17 posters. Otherwise it's not worth having one barely larger."

"I'd go ahead and get a 12x18 if I had no barriers. If you're comfortable with a machine of that size, I think it'll totally be worthwhile. The printing area and strength of the press will be nice to have around, even if it is a giant…"

Hi There!I'm trying to purchase another press (I have an 8x12 C&P NS right now) and I'm trying to decide between a 10x15 C&P and a 12x18 C&P. So my question for you C&P users is: if you were choosing a press strictly based on size, not difficulty moving or price, which one would you choose and why? I tend to assume that bigger is better but maybe I'm mistaken? Thanks kindly!See More
