Ladies of Letterpress show at the San Francisco Center for the Book

On March 17th, Jessica and I, shown below on a very strong-feeling day at the Pyramid Atlantic Book Arts Fair, will host a reception and talk about Ladies of Letterpress and the upcoming conference. Braden Sutphin Ink for Sale

Keith Corcoran alerted me to a large lot of ink he's selling--he'd salvaged most of it from a print shop that was reducing its inventory. The ink is mostly Braden Sutphin Sheet Fed Offset, and he has many fabulous colors available, including mixes well beyond the Pantone starter kit. UICB now offers MFA in Book Art

A new Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program in book arts will be offered by the University of Iowa Graduate College and the UI Center for the Book, starting in fall 2011.



This interdisciplinary program will study the art of the book, both as a hands-on practice and as a historical and cultural phenomenon. It builds on the current graduate certificate offered through the UI Center for the Book, which is part of the Graduate College.
