Did any of you ladies in letterpress get your introduction to printing or graphic arts through a Girl Scout program?

I'm writing an article about the role Boy Scout merit badges for Printing (obsolete since 1981), Printing/Communication (obsolete since 1989), and Graphic Arts (the current version) may have played in introducing boys to these skills. I could find nothing similar for girls in Girl Scouting, but maybe I missed it somewhere along the way. I would appreciate being set straight if, in fact, Girl Scouts do offer an activity or program like that.

     Thanks for your consideration.

PRINTS & GRAPHICS Girl Scout Badge NEW Worlds to Explore Purple ARTS Multiples

Yes, Girl Scouts had a badge they could earn. I taught many Girl Scout Troops letterpress and silk screen printing, along with other fun activities for their badge. I would bring my table top Kelsey to meetings and weekend outings. We silk screened many t-shirts with the Girl Scout Logo, watched films, and toured local Printing Companies. Everyone had a blast! Let me know if you would like more information.
