Never have a problem cracking. We use the #118, so don’t know if a heavier stock would give you trouble. We also use a hand scoring machine and I don’t know maybe that helps us. Good luck!

I think you would be very happy with it. I have never used Lettra, but think it is close in finish. Thumbs up for French paper also… have not used for letterpress, but a lot for flat printing. They are a wonderful company and you won’t be disappointed. Good luck!
