The Chicago Printers Guild will be opening a show next Friday night, October 8, at the Chicago Urban Art Society.

I know there are at least two letterpress printers in the show (Jen of Starshaped Press and me), as well as an amazing variety of printers who silkscreen, etch and more. A number of these folks are also well known gig poster artists from Chicago.
If you cannot make the opening, check out the second page of the attached pdf for the gallery’s other hours.

13 years, 6 months agoHey Jen!I am going to go. Probably earlier (after work) rather than later, but I bet the dj will kick things up as the evening goes on. I do hope to see you there too!And as an addendum to the list of letterpress printers representing Chicago, I believe Rarrar Press will also be there!
