So I am getting ready to launch my wedding line to retailer but still haven’t nailed down my presentation boxes. I am heading over to a box company to have a meeting with them about custom boxes on Friday, but just thought I would ask the other ladies of letterpress….what do you do?

I get mine from Uline.com, source of everything packaging (who knew tape could be so interesting?)–I like the pinstrip Kraft ones. I have been looking for a recycled version, but haven’t had any luck finding them in bulk yet . . .

Are they big and nice enough for a wedding suite? I will have to investigate. Other than that I am heading to a local custom box manufacture tomorrow I will be sure to let you know how it goes. Hope all is well and p.s. I love this site!

They are big enough–I get the 8x8x4 ones, which fits about 100 A7 invites, and then fill the empty space with cornstarch peanuts or zigzag paper.

Does that include the envelopes? or do you box those by themselves?

They get boxed separately, most of the time. Sometimes I just wrap them in matching paper . . .

Okay I have an idea and a possible solution. I just need some feed back from the wonderful ladies of letterpress. (Kseniya help if I am not posting this were everyone can see). I am talking to a box company that is here in the bay area, and I told her my woes. I had a thought…what if this box company would take orders from a list of available boxes, (a few styles and a few colors) once a month. This would make the it easier to justify a low cost to us because they would be producing more in bulk and we could get amazing boxes at a great cost. Any thoughts? I would love to be able to meet with this company again and give them an idea of the letterpress community desire for such a service. Thanks girls and have a great day printing.Amber
