It’s kind of spammy anyway; I’m starting a new thing and I’m so anxious about it so I’m telling everyone I know so that they can write back and be all excited so that I can feel momentarily less totally doomed. Too many so’s in that sentence. I was making a fruit salad Saturday and I thought of you, how almost six years ago when Meghan was brand new you brought us dinner and made us that raspberry/mango fruit salad. I am a big mango eater now, and it’s entirely due to you. I remember how long you sat in our kitchen in El Cerrito in the rocking chair holding Meghan. I did a bunch of reading on your blog; good stuff! Did you know my step-mom was interned? She was two when her family moved into the camps. xoxo Cory
