Community Print Shop Tours and Discussion, featuring:

Jenny Wilkson from the School of Visual Concepts talking about reinventing a community print shop during a pandemic.

Amos Kennedy from Pile of Bricks in Detroit will talk about creating a space for BIPoC peoples to experience letterpress printing and the importance of working with city inspectors while restoring the Pile of Bricks.

Jim Moran from Hamilton Wood Type Museum will spotlight their incredible collections in Two Rivers, WI.

Kyle Van Horn from Baltimore Print Studio – will talk about Riso printing and the ins and outs of their facilities in Baltimore.  

Marie Oberkirsch (one of our lovely hosts) from Central Print in St. Louis will discuss printing in the community and community engagement.
