Annual Letterpress Sale in Zion, IL

I just wanted to post a quick notice about the annual Type Sale at the Platen Press Museum in Zion, IL.

It will take place Saturday, May 5, from 9 am to 2 pm.

Items available for sale include type, cases, cabinets, table top presses, composing sticks, furniture racks, quoins and keys, and more. Great way to pick up some shop supplies!

PS the type available is metal type!

I’m so excited for this! I’ve already booked my hotel, borrowing a friend’s truck, and I’m ready to come up and see what’s available! Thanks for posting this on here or I never would have known about it! 🙂
