California Wash content/toxicity?

Hi.  I’m new to letterpress and really enjoying it, but I just found out I’m pregnant.  I’d like to continue printing and I’ve read the other posts about CA wash alternatives, but the printshop I work in often has fumes of CA wash regardless.  I would like to talk to my dr. about it but I’m not sure exactly what to tell him.  Chemical makeup of the solvent?  Is there a more common chemical name I can use to refer to CA wash?  Thanks for any advice!

Congrats on your pregnancy! I didn’t read through all of this other thread, but I know this has been something that’s been covered in the past on LofL…if my memory serves me correctly, there was a discussion about being pregnant and what chemicals other ladies used:
