Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum announces the second year of the New Impressions juried exhibition. This international exhibition aims to showcase exploration and creativity with letterpress printing techniques. From this age-old tradition, we strive to challenge and inspire artists to continue the love of printing. This exhibition is open to artists 18 years of age and older creating works involving letterpress printing.
The juror’s for this year’s exhibition are Paul Brown, professor of Graphic Design at Indiana University, Amelia Hugill-Fontanel, associate curator at the Cary Graphic Arts Collection at Rochester Institute of Technology and Jim Sherraden, Master Printer, Chief Designer and Archivist at Hatch Show Print.
Following exhibition at Hamilton, the show travels to Design College Australia in Brisbane for a one-month display. We are honored to work with our friends there to share this international exhibition more expansively.
The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2016. So please enter and tell all your friends!
