Hi friends!
It was so great to meet many of you at #typeonthecob last summer! I look forward to the next one!
I’ve just posted a blog about my new Indiegogo campaign.
We’re launching a new Book Arts Coop to preserve and sustain our letterpress facility here in Dubuque, Iowa.
The Driftless Letterpress and Book Arts Cooperative will provide access to the shop that I have assembled over the past thirty years. As a co-op, Members will gain access to the facilities (sustaining member status), discounts on printing and workshops (all members) and other goodies. But even if you don’t want to be a member, we need your support, and we’re publishing a gorgeous limited-edition fine-art print to entice you!
The “Fraktur Alphabet”, by renowned designer and calligrapher Julian Waters, will be printed in two colors by master printer Peter Fraterdeus at SlowPrint/Driftless Book Arts. The first 50 in the edition will be on hand-made Japanese washi with the remaining 100 on mould-made Italian paper.
This campaign is ‘all-or-nothing’ so we really need your support, both by pre-subscribing to the edition, and in sharing the campaign!

Thanks so much!!
