My Golding Pearl came with a missing left (the pearls right) I have taken the whole frisket unit off as it was creating a bump and the remaining on was coming close to being smashed by the base. The left side of the rod as t sitting in the left bracket that’s attached to the base of the platen as it’s broken. Anyway my question is, has anyone found working without them an issue? And is there a dodgy solution?
