Hello!  So I departed from my VanSon rubber based ink and went with another rubber based manufacturer–or, I guess I should say, another company offering rubber based inks.  This new ink seems very tacky/sticky…so much so that it seems to pull up over the smaller details in my prints, muddying the overall print.

    Does that make any sense?

Is there a remedy/additive I can use?  This ink is such a headache to print with…I am about to throw both cans in the trash (one a custom mix, the other a pre-mixed color).

I’ve never had a problem with my VanSon Inks.

Thanks in advance for your help!

My black rubber ink is very tacky and I use Gans Rubber Base Reducer. it works great.   I think VanSon also sells a version.

    cheers, cindi

    Hi Cindi,

Thanks!  I will definitely have to try some.  I started searching, but quickly grew overwhelmed b/c I didn’t know exactly what I was looking for.

    Thanks,
    Shauna
