Legion Paper and Hurricane Sandy
On behalf of the entire Legion Paper team, I want to thank everyone for their words of support and patience as we begin the recovery from Hurricane Sandy. All of our staff are safe, although most have lost power at their homes in the Northeast.
Our offices in NYC and Edison, NJ are still without power (including our east coast warehouse). So far, there is no firm date for power to be restored but expect that it will take several days.
Since our highest priority now is to continue to serve our customers, our staff are working from home wherever possible (in some cases, from cell phones charging in cars) or turning over duties to our Los Angeles counterparts.
We have arranged with many US-based paper mills to ship to our customers directly and we continue to ship from our LA warehouse.
