Letterpress workshop w/Amy Redmond: The Acrobatic Alphabet (10/9/21)

Calling all letterpress lovers, typography nerds, & creatives who dig hands-on processes! ⚡️ This Saturday, Oct. 9, I’m teaching THE ACROBATIC ALPHABET — a 2-hour virtual workshop exploring how to play and work with type in unexpected ways.

I’ll be using wood type and metal type on a Vandercook press to explore how letterforms communicate beyond words when used expressively in abstract compositions — but the methodology can also be applied to your digital practice.

A nice little bonus: each student will be mailed a finished letterpress print of the work created during class. Analog for the win!
