    Hello,

Does anyone know someone who can move a letterpress in MD (Near Annapolis/DC area)? I haven’t moved it before and I am a bit afraid to try it because it is coming from basement up a sloped hill. Right now it is bolted to 2x4s with motor. I know that the fly wheel must come off and I have no clue how to do that. I just am moving within 2 weeks and afraid I can’t get any help with it.

Any advice or contacts to help is greatly appreciated. I hope that the person I bought it from comes through, but he is having some rough times at the moment and not sure if time is on my side.

    Thanks in advance,

    Lori

    Hi Lori,

I have moved a few C&P’s in the last year or so. I live up in Frederick if you need some help, I can certainly help take one apart.

    How steep is the slope?

Is the basement a walk out?

How wide is the basement door.

And how many friends can you get to help push.

Feel free to email me @ michael at makeitpoppress dot com

    Michael
