    Hi Ladies!

I’m still on conference cloud nine and can’t stop thinking about everything that happened this past weekend. So I was wondering what your favorite moments were, too.

    Here are mine:

Though you MIGHT expect me to say my favorite moment was dropping that type drawer in Bookworks, it is second only to this: The overall enveloping feeling of being around all of you inspiring, incredibly driven women who speak my language. I love letterpress because of how accessible it is to newcomers, but never in my life have I felt so welcomed, encouraged and engaged by a group. So, thank you, everyone!

One more quick favorite: Explaining that box of rules I bought from Bowerbox to the TSA. Risking federal punishment for letterpress? That’s dedication.

    Your turn!

Oh no! I would never have thought of that.. hopefully they didn’t think they were a weapon?!

Nice to meet you, and everyone else who came- I really wish I could get to my shop today but it won’t happen till the weekend, I was so inspired by this weekend that I have a million new ideas.

My favorite part is the same…meeting such a great group of people and being completely inspired! I don’t know that I’ve ever gotten to geek out so much over letterpress and it was amazing!

How about Judith’s story about her niece, who was b-r-o-k-e? Or Cat Realce’s moving presentation about women in printing? Not a dry eye in the room!

i cannot get over how amazing the conference was. my favorite part was meeting people. but a close second was the incredible dead feminist presentation… jaw dropping. what those ladies are doing with letterpress is absolutely stunning. bought two of the prints and they are already on display at home 🙂

Good food, good company, and lots of shop talk! I had fun in the printers fair, where I could wander, chat, meet people, and see what a few of you are up to these days.

Oh, and one fun moment was when I went outside the front lobby and saw a line of orange totes; a whole gang of printers waiting for the bus!
