I can’t seem to find a letterpress paper supplier that offers a good thick letterpress stock that looks like kraft paper. I am doing wedding invitations and I need a kraft paper stock to use in my letterpress press. I am really having a difficult time finding this. Any suggestions?

    Hi, Angela,

You probably need chipboard. You can also check out this boxcar press link https://www.boxcarpress.com/blog/design-tips-letterpress-chipboard/ It comes in a lot of thicknesses and generally has a smoother finish. If you really want thick “kraft” paper, you’ll probably need to duplex/laminate, then cut it down. Hope that helps.

Chipboard actually presses really well – and has more of a kraft, natural feel! And it’s so cheap, which is awesome!
