    The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory Scholarship

    FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIP to attend a workshop at the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory (open to current CBAA Student Members and Recent Alumni Members)

    APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 15, 2018
    This scholarship allows a current CBAA Student Member or Recent Alumni Member to participate in a workshop of their choice scheduled at the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory. The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory & Educational Foundation is the largest arts center in the United States dedicated to every facet of papermaking, book arts and letterpress printing and to cultivating the talents of established and emerging artists. Workshop offerings cover a range of traditional and contemporary approaches within all three disciplines, from various techniques for sculpting with paper pulp, to historic binding styles, to opportunities to experiment with typesetting.

    The scholarship covers full tuition for enrollment in a summer workshop, as well as housing
    Only one or two-day workshops between the dates on June 1 and September 16 are available for scholarship recipients
    Travel to the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory as well as the materials fee needs to be covered by the scholarship recipient
    The nominated student will be chosen by CBAA, but the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory & Educational Foundation will have one member of staff on the committee

    7 images (.jpg, .pdf, .avi, .mp4 or .mov) of your work
    Image list that indicates titles, materials, sizes and creation dates for each of the 7 images
    Resumé
    A statement of intent for the program at the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory (.docx, .doc or .pdf). Please address the following: How will attending a workshops at the Morgan Conservatory impact your current arts practice?

    April 15, 2018 = Applicants will be notified of their acceptance before this date
