Stepping Down

Dear LoLP friends,

After much deliberation and many sleepless nights, I?ve decided to step down as co-director of Ladies of Letterpress. In the past year, major changes in my personal life (a baby, to be specific!) as well as changes in my work have put me in a place where my lack of time and energy prevent me from being the best leader I can be for this community. I?m so proud of what we?ve accomplished so far, and incredibly pleased to see what a lovely community this has become. After 6 years at the helm, it is with a sad heart that I say goodbye, but it?s only a partial goodbye. Rest assured that I will continue to work with LoLP in an advisory role, and of course I?ll be seeing you at the LoLP site and the chat room!

First of all, congratulations on your new baby. That is a big change and life often needs to change to accommodate. A very exciting time for your family!

Thank you for co-envisioning and creating Ladies of Letterpress. I was happy to attend LOLP 2013 and you guys did a wonderful job and I so enjoyed meeting you and buying your graphic novel. I look forward to the future LOLP as it grows, certain that you have given it a good beginning, with your blood sweat and tears 🙂 I’m glad you will still be involved.
