Studio Do’s and Don’ts

I am setting up my letterpress studio and wanted to ask what are your MUST HAVE studio suggestions. Could be tools, equipment, furniture or even a guilty pleasure buy that your studio wouldn’t be the same without. Also what did you buy that ultimately was a waste of money or just didn’t come in handy after all.

I would say a color-correct lamp is an often-overlooked must have; the florescent/incandescent combination in the lamp approximates daylight, so you can match colors to PMS swatches even in low-light or nighttime conditions. I got a vintage one on eBay for about $40!
