WOW! I am so happy to hear from you and to get a response to this post, at last! 🙂 I will definitely be contacting Bell Type and I am going to go to your Facebook page right now and no doubt “like” it!!! Very excited to meet another Kingsley user/fan. So far I am learning how to operate my M-75 through trial and error and really have had no one to contact for troubleshooting. A lot of foil has been wasted in my efforts, I can tell you! Well thanks again and I look forward to chatting & sharing with you soon!
I have a Howard hot foil stamp machine … is Kingsley type compatible? I’m having a horrible time finding type for my machine (short of buying some new, I guess).
tiffany… the howard machine uses traditional type high typefaces. you are only limited by the size of your type holder. for example, most kingsley machines hole 18 pt type. but there are plenty of other sized type holders, so we are able to use all sorts of typefaces! hope that helps!
Oh, really? Well … then … I have a lot of freedom! Also, an excuse to buy more metal type (I just bought a few typefaces when we bought our Showcard signpress). Aaaah! Maybe now I have too much freedom. Heehee. Yay!
i dont know a ton about Howard. but i see it bundled with plain old traditional typefaces on sale on ebay, so…. but i also have a link for you to read up on the howard. i use this company for all sorts of things. ludlow slugs. new typefaces, etc. http://www.belltype.com/HowardHotFoilStampingMachine.html
