The Soybean Press is an association of teachers, students and members of the Champaign-Urbana community who gather together to produce letterpress projects. We have worked with visiting artists including Amos Kennedy, Audrey Niffenegger, and the Combat Paper Project.

My career began in 1970 with ?Photography Into Sculpture? at the Museum of Modern Art. I’ve received two National Endowment for the Arts Photography Fellowships and delivered lectures and workshops internationally on my mixed media photography and photographic books. I taught letterpress printing at the U of Illinois and am a founding member of our community press: The Soybean Press.
