I was lucky enough to study letterpress printing with Barry Moser during my time at Smith College. Lettepress indulges both my love of interesting texture combinations, old stuff, and nitty gritty details.I’ve been making books and writing in them since I was a kid, before I “knew how.” I briefly studied bookbinding basics at the Wide Awake Garage in Easthampton, Mass. I’ve since explored more binding workshops through New York’s Center for Book Arts and taught myself a whole lot through trial and error (ok, a whole lot of error).When I’m not playing with inks, papers and threads, I’m probably on a bicycle or in a kayak, snuggling with my kitties, or reading. I’m also a practicing massage therapist.
