I would charge them for the paper, plates etc at the standard rate (purchase price plus surcharge) and charge the printing hours at a reasonable level. I don’t what how high that might be in the States, but in The Netherlands I explain to letterpress printers that a mechanic for your car would charge about 60?/hour, only for labor. We use Colorplan from GF Smith very often for letterpress jobs. Comes in 50 shades in 8 substances. It is my understanding that it is now also stocked in the USA.Otherwise check colorplanpapers.comChristiaan Janssen / passion for paper

It might be a bit late for this purpose, but in Europe we have a paper called Woodside. The frontside looks like wood, the reverse side is a plain light brown kraft.
