My husband purchased Lucy (the name I affectionately gave our press) in 2009 with the intention of using it to reproduce his pen-and-ink artwork. He patiently coerced and prodded me to learn how to run the press, and since then I’ve taken it over. Our letterpress studio is up and running, but not quite a full-time job. Despite my initial reluctance – I LOVE printing on Lucy! I’ve been a graphic designer for more than 15 years and haven’t ever had the affinity for pieces I create like I do each and every print that comes off the CP.
