I began my search for my first press early this year and found a printer that operated three Windmills and had a C&P Old Series floor standing platen press in storage. I was also hoping to find someone to teach me to use the equipment and he agreed to not only teach me but to sell me his shop. Times must have been hard for him because he sold the Windmills to someone else. I made out with the C&P, but never learned how to use it. Now I’m practicing and learning on my own through trial and error and I love it! I can’t wait to own my own print shop!
