Domestica’s an indie craft shop located in Des Moines, IA. Started this application in order to interact on the forums – meet designers, set up shows, help with info on DSM, etc.

My name’s Chrissy Jensen. I opened Domestica in 2010 in DSM, IA. Have a life-long love of print + graphic design, so my shop’s a little print heavy. We have some letterpress not a lot, yet, but I think that’s happenstance. We have a modern aesthetic in the shop which doesn’t always match with some of our favorite letterpress foundries’ work. I’m applying more as a friend of the Ladies of Letterpress in the hopes that there’s such a thing. Knowing abt shows, workshops, new presses, etc. is important to me + my ability to be a good steward for craft. Please contact me any time.
