Manager in training at Marthabelle’s Print Shoppe, KC MO. Learning everything about printing that I can- I have a background in management and am self-taught in design. I have ‘respect for the press’ as my boss says, and that’s why he hired me. I look forward to a life-long affair with letterpress and print shop design. My mom is a self taught graphic designer who acquired her own letterpresses and started a printing business two years ago; and the owner of the business I work at started said business almost 70 years ago, a woman in what she calls ‘a man’s world of print’. I’d like to tell her about this group as well.
