After being a tech teacher and school librarian for 20 years — a job which no longer exists — I am striking out on a new path. I have always been a closet artist, and letterpress is a perfect medium for me for various reasons. I live in Portland, Oregon, and just purchased my first press (January 2014). I learned letterpress printing at the IPRC here in PDX. Portland is a very inspiring and supportive place to develop my craft.
