Bio |
I purchased Goliath in 1976 when I was 16 years old using most of the earnings from my first real job. I have toted that Kelsey 3×5 around for years knowing that I wanted to start using it again and now I finally am.In December of 2015 I rescued Minnie, a Golding Pearl #3 manufactured in 1894, from a garage in Spring Hills, FL. The previous custodian had taken surprisingly good care of it given that it hadn’t tasted ink since 1968. The press came with its last job locked up in the chase which is kind of cool. Minnie has undergone a minimal restoration and is now a productive part of the Inky Dinka Doo team.I am in this strictly for enjoyment and the pleasure of creating beautiful things. The enjoyment and pleasure parts of the plan are working fine, I’m still working on the beautiful.
