Laura Jane Coats is an artist, designer, and calligrapher, and author and illustrator of children?s books. She has degree in Fine Arts from UC Davis, and has worked primarily as a designer of books, posters, and museum graphics. Her present focus is on letterpress printing and the creation of limited edition artist books.
