Coming from a background in woodworking, at one point I stumbled upon hot foil stamping. Making impressions on gift boxes and bags, notebooks, business cards etc. using both type and dies. This gradually lead to an interest in letterpress printing using inks as well. Nothing like the look and feel of a deep impression made into thick cotton paper.
