5-6 years ago(around 2002), I felled in love with a wedding invitation cards letterpress printed in US, even I didn’t know what is letterpress, but when I saw it, I immediately decided to make prints like that. After several years for preparing, I’ve started letterpress printing, and running for about 2 years. Now I’m going to open bigger letterpress studio space in Tokyo, which is sometimes open to the public. I’m so much influenced by American letterpress culture, and I try to make prints with essence mixed with both American and Japanese!
