BFA in ceramics (CSULB, 1996), I made clay and mixed media sculptural books for over a decade. In 2002, I relocated to Chicago for an MFA in Interdisciplinary Book & Paper Arts, intending to head towards academia. I fell in love with Vandercook presses and wood type the moment I used them, and maintain my fondness for linoleum carving. Have taught/teach “Printmaking Techniques in Clay” and “Posters That Rock” workshops occasionally; also working on developing an urban residency program for artists/writers/musicians in Chicago.
