I learned to print during an apprenticeship in the high mountains of British Columbia, Canada in 2005. Since then I’ve had the good fortune to make prints of many kinds in many places, including Utah, Chicago, Vermont and Connecticut. Since 2009 I’ve been working in my studio in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, building a shop and honing my skills. Heartell Press is my line of relief printed cards and art prints, launched in October of 2014. I teach workshops and I love studio visits, so please get in touch if you are in the neighborhood!
