most c&p presses have a little rod on the right saddle to pull on to remove the rollers

 

does your not have that?

does it have the hole for the pin?

sure, just put two colors on the press BUT be sure to disengage the ratchet business that spins the ink disk.

 

The ink disk must not turn. The longer the run, the more the colors blend
