After studying Graphic Design in Pittsburgh , and Fine Arts in California PA, I did the opposite of what most designers would do & headed for the mountains.When I’m not working,I can either be found with my other half drinking coffee,creating Art, painting on reclaimed furniture,constructed of reclaimed wood, or somewhere in the mountains exploring by foot,bike or Snowshoe.Several months ago my beau & I stumbled upon a massive (neglected)hunk o’metal, aka a Chandler & Price 12×18. (someone was going to scrap it). After a grueling haul to the mountaintop, it now safe & sound, residing in a small garage located smack dab in the middle of a field along the Laurel Highland Ridges. We are now on a patient quest to find the pieces and parts that we need to restore this magnificent beauty , as well as gain as much knowledge as possible to operate it.Our long term goal is to one day establish a small & private shop of our own. And until that day comes, We both will continue to work as Screen-printers at a local shop in our area, and educate ourselves as much as possible in the Art of Letterpress.
