My name is Emily, and I?m a printmaker. After studying studio art (printmaking) and communications in college, and then art education in grad school, I found it difficult to make work at home without consistent access to the print studio environment and equipment that was always a source of creativity and experimentation for me. Living in a small beach area apartment, space was also an issue. When I took a letterpress and wood engraving course one summer, something just clicked.
