Bio

My introduction to letterpress came through shopping. I’m an avid buyer and sender of cards. Then in 2009 I discovered the San Francisco Center for the Book and took a series of workshops on letterpress printing. The workshops made it look easy … So I bought my own press in late 2009 and spent a good year or so buying parts and supplies. Letterpress is for me, right now, a hobby and learning experience. It’s a way for me to realize the dream of making my own cards, to re-engage my artistic side, and to learn a wonderful, traditional, analog art form. My progress is slow and I have a lot yet to learn.
