Bio |
I am a graphic designer who has loved letterpress from the first class assignment in college. I was able to meet some of the pioneering women of Letterpress during college. I bought my pilot press after 5 months of research after I graduated. This was before the internet, so it was much more difficult having to deal with men who didn’t understand why a girl wanted a press. I have printed off and on since 1986. I was taught that the fine art of letterpress was about kiss printing, but if you did that now the general public would say you don’t know letterpress printing. I think that is funny, but times change and change can be good. I am glad that LP has become appreciated by so many and not just something for a few to admire.I have design and print my own line of contemporary cards and ephemera. I also do custom cards, invitations, social stationary and art pieces.I am so happy to be doing Letterpress!
