True North Letterpress is a creative print and design studio that pairs old printing methods with a modern approach to design. We design and print gift cards and other paper products and provide letterpress printing services to local businesses and design clients.
Our studio includes a retail shop that features art books, paper goods, and letterpress cards made at our shop and by letterpress printers and artists whose work we love to share.
Owner Robin Doggett has worked in many areas of print design throughout the years and truly enjoys applying her diverse experiences to the business of letterpress. Her designs marry the simplicity of text, form, and color and are directly inspired by the studio’s collection of vintage wood and metal type acquired from two newspaper print shops from the area.
True North Letterpress is located in a unique and amazing place called the Methow Valley; found deep within the eastern mountain slopes of Washington State. Although remote, it’s a place of adventurers and artists and very good coffee– things we can not get enough of, really.
