We did it exactly like Kseniya (although in AZ where it is sooo dry – we put the bag in the refrigerator) – we printed a line of cards with large solids…worked perfectly.

C&P platen is the way to go to start – go with a smaller one. I have a 12 x 18 & 10 x 12 and I use the smaller one daily (Matilda) Beatrice really barely gets inked up – only for posters. pic of them here http://www.letterpressoftulsa.com

I get this question a lot as well. I work with a couple of different local printers for things that I can’t do in my shop, but I focus most of my efforts on pushing the letterpress work. i ASSUME YOU HAVE TRY EVERYTHING i’VE READ, ONE OTHER THING IS YOU CAN CHECK THE POLYMER PLATE IT SELF FOR BAD MANUFACTURING THE PRODUCT. THIS PROCESS HAS BEEN WORKING BUT NOT 100 %. ON YOUR HEATED TIMER ( UV ) LAMP LEAVE THE PLATE IN LONGER AND GO THRU THE PROCESS MORE INTENSE
